Data controller

The controller for personal data collected through this site and during your stay is the company named at the bottom of the page, reachable at the email address given in the Contact section.

What data we collect

Data you give us: first name, surname, email, phone number and the content of messages sent via the contact form or WhatsApp.

Booking data: dates, number of guests, apartment, payment details. Bookings are handled by the Octorate booking engine, which acts as data processor; payment card details do not pass through this site.

Guests' identity documents, collected at the time of stay as required by law.

Technical browsing data (IP address, browser type) processed for site security; statistics and marketing cookies only after your consent.

Why we process it and on what legal basis

Performance of the tourist rental contract: managing the booking, communications about the stay, check-in and assistance.

Legal obligation: reporting guests' identity document data to the police via the Alloggiati Web portal within twenty-four hours of arrival (within six hours for one-night stays); transmitting statistical data to the Region of Emilia-Romagna via the Ross 1000 system; collecting and paying over the tourist tax to the Comune di Ravenna; issuing and keeping accounting and tax records.

Consent: statistics and marketing, which you can withdraw at any time via the Cookie Preferences button at the bottom of every page.

Legitimate interest: site security and defence of legal claims.

How long we keep the data

Accounting and tax records: ten years, as required by the Italian Civil Code.

Booking data and correspondence with guests: up to three years from the end of the stay, in case of disputes.

Data sent to Alloggiati Web and Ross 1000: retention by the relevant authorities follows their own rules.

Messages sent through the contact form without a booking: twelve months.

Who we share data with

Public security authorities (Alloggiati Web), the Region of Emilia-Romagna (Ross 1000), the Comune di Ravenna for the tourist tax, our accountant, the booking engine and payment provider, email and hosting providers, and cleaning staff, limited to guest name and stay dates.

We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for their own commercial purposes.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to the email address given in Contact: we reply within thirty days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Transfers outside the European Union

Our providers operate within the European Economic Area. Should any provider process data outside it, the transfer will rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
